Each year, CUSCA assigns delegates to a number of workgroups each tasked with researching a topic of interest to Policy-Covered Staff. Workgroups are charged to write a report of their methodology, findings and recommendations for UC leadership, and next steps for CUCSA if applicable. The Engagement & Community Workgroup focused on strengthening connection, communication, and collaboration across CUCSA and Staff Assembly at each UC location. Because the workgroup’s recommendations are intended for CUCSA Executive Board consideration and are focused on internal coordination across Staff Assemblies, a recording and slide deck were not produced for this presentation. CUCSA Town Hall: Tuesday, July 7, 2026

More than 100 staff and administrators from across the University of California system joined CUCSA’s All-Staff Town Hall on July 7, 2026. The session featured updates from CUCSA Workgroup Chairs, who shared key recommendations from the Sustainable Workforce and Wellbeing workgroups and answered questions about their final reports. These resources provide an opportunity to learn more about the issues CUCSA is advancing on behalf of UC staff and the recommendations that will help inform future conversations across the UC system.
