Biography

Clare McCarthy is the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst on the Market Analytics team in Strategy and Growth at UC Davis Health. She started in Strategy in January of 2023. Her role includes providing support for analytics products across UC Davis Health and more specifically is a Tableau Developer for products utilizing healthcare market data, payor enrollment data, financial data. She and her team work to support projects that align with UC Davis Health’s strategic plan. She is also the Events Co-Chair for UCDH Staff Assembly.
Outside of work, Clare is an avid golfer, reader, and runner.

“The most positive part of my CUCSA experience was the opportunity to engage with my peers across the UC system, to learn that the challenges that we were facing at UC Riverside were not always unique to us, and in some cases had been addressed and even solved. I also enjoyed my time outside the meeting, chatting with colleagues and dinners and the odd karaoke bar, learning more about them both personally and professionally. Some of these friendships have lasted until today.”
