Biography

Lauren is a proud graduate of UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) and has 25+ years in human resources. Her current position is Senior HR Leader/SMG Coordinator for UC Santa Cruz. She has the responsibility for managing the recruitments and reviews of the campus’ senior leaders. Lauren has been involved with the UCSC Staff Advisory Board since 2022, volunteering to take on both the Secretary and Chair-Elect/Chair of the Board positions. She is involved with many organizations on campus such as the Communities of Interest group, the Staff Equity Advocate Program, and the SAB Mentorship Program. In her off time, Lauren likes to walk on the beach with her dog, go to local wineries and spend time with friends and family.
