Biography

Meenakshi Vedantham is an experienced HR professional who has spent the last three years dedicated to supporting the UC Berkeley BEARS region as an HR Business partner. In her role at Cal, she thrives on collaborating with talented colleagues and takes immense pride in supporting the staff who help make the university an exceptional place to work and learn.

Meenakshi brings over 14 years of human resources expertise spanning the government, nonprofit, and private sectors. Her broad, inclusive perspective is shaped by living and working internationally across the U.S., India, Puerto Rico, and Singapore. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and remains deeply passionate about employee development and organizational growth. Outside of work, she is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, practicing a traditional Indian classical dance form that combines rhythm, storytelling, and expressive movement.
