Biography

Nancy Arroyo is a Senior Academic Personnel Analyst in the Office of Academic Personnel, an administrative office at UC Irvine under the leadership of Vice Provost Gillian Hayes. Bringing over 15 years of dedicated service to the University of California system — including six years on the UC Irvine campus — Nancy is a proud first-generation college graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, establishing deep roots within the UC family early in her academic journey. Service-driven, community-minded, and people-centered, she is passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences and is deeply committed to the collective success of those she serves. As the current Chair of Staff Assembly at UC Irvine, Nancy has the privilege of collaborating with dedicated staff members from across the UCI campus and UCI Health, championing the interests and well-being of the broader UCI staff community.
