Biography

Rebekah has worked in the higher education field for just under ten years, and she wishes she had veered onto this pathway earlier in her career. She enjoyed over 25 years in the high-tech industry, however, when she started her journey at UCOP in Systemwide Human Resources, she knew she had made the right choice.

Rebekah currently serves as the Director of Executive Compensation Programs and Strategy, overseeing the unit responsible for governance and reporting for positions in the Senior Management Group as well as compensation programs across a broad spectrum of employee groups.

She has a deep respect and understanding of the importance of the staff assemblies at each UC location and specifically CUCSA, which provides a forum for elevating opportunities to transform the work experience and impact of UC staff across the system.
