Biography

Melanie Ramiro was the 2023-2024 Vice President / President Elect of the UC Riverside Staff Assembly. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and did her graduate studies in Counseling / Psychology with Argosy University. She also participated in the Minority Students Research Exchange Program at Princeton University. Since October 2021, she has served as the Performing Arts Marketing Specialist for the Office of the Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. From July 2020-June 2023, Melanie served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for UCR Staff Assembly. Melanie has also Chaired the UCR Healthy Campus Marketing & Communications subcommittee since 2018.
