Biography

Giselle has over 7 years of experience in higher education across different areas including institutional advancement, student affairs, and human resources. Giselle is currently the Coordinator and Training Specialist for the Learning and Development Team within Local Human Resources at the University of California, Office of the President (UCOP).

Giselle values community and seeks to be in safe and empowering spaces with fellow staff. She has been involved with various staff groups and organizations including UCLA Staff Assembly’s Career Development Task Force in 2020-21, she was a member of USC’s Asian and Pacific Islander Staff and Faculty Association, and she is currently a member of the President’s Advisory Committee for the Status of Women at UCOP. She is excited to serve as a CUCSA delegate and the opportunity to advocate for staff.

Giselle is a proud Bruin and Matador, earning her BA in Psychology from UCLA and her MA in Higher Education Leadership from CSUN.
