Biography

Jeff Heiser is an incoming 1st year delegate to CUCSA, bringing over 14 years of dedicated service to UC Davis. A proud UC Santa Cruz alumnus (Go Slugs!) with a Bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology and holding a Master’s in Recreation and Non-Profit Management from San Francisco State, Jeff is also an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the ICF, a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, and a Certified Student Affairs Educator (CSAEd). With a background in team building and personal development from camp and recreation environments, Jeff is dedicated to unlocking individual potential and fostering high-performing, connected teams. As a Senior Trainer and Strengths Coach for Workforce Development in the Division of Student Affairs at UC Davis, he provides one-on-one coaching to leaders, leads Strengths and teambuilding workshops, and facilitates strategic planning retreats. He’s committed to helping individuals utilize their strengths daily to feel more energized, engaged, and connected to those around them. His commitment to the UC community is further demonstrated by his service on the UC Trainer’s Consortium Advisory, Student Affairs Strategic Planning, and Healthy UC Davis committees, chairing the UC Davis Child and Family Care Advisory Committee, and serving as a scholarship committee member of UC Davis Staff Assembly.
