Biography

Katie Urbanowich is a proud UC Berkeley graduate who has served in a variety of roles within Student Affairs since 2019, including Program Coordinator for the Early Childhood Education Program, Project Analyst for Residential & Student Service Programs, and currently, Director of Administration for UC Berkeley Dining. She is a results-driven administrative and project management professional with over a decade of experience supporting operations at UC Berkeley and throughout the Bay Area.

With a background in Cognitive Science and professional training in data analysis, Katie is passionate about leveraging information to promote equity, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness. Her areas of expertise include DEIBJ initiatives, budget modeling, performance management, and emergency preparedness. Known for her collaborative leadership and ability to drive cross-functional projects, Katie is also a strong advocate for staff development, committed to providing the tools and resources that help others thrive both personally and professionally.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with her two beloved dogs.
