Biography

Kelvin is an Industrial Hygienist at UC San Diego, where he supports the health and safety of the campus by conducting workplace assessments, monitoring exposures, and advising departments on best practices for chemical safety, indoor air quality, asbestos, and mold. With a solutions-oriented mindset, he collaborates with teams across campus to maintain safe environments for staff, faculty, and students.

“The most positive part of my CUCSA experience was the opportunity to engage with my peers across the UC system, to learn that the challenges that we were facing at UC Riverside were not always unique to us, and in some cases had been addressed and even solved. I also enjoyed my time outside the meeting, chatting with colleagues and dinners and the odd karaoke bar, learning more about them both personally and professionally. Some of these friendships have lasted until today.”
