Biography

Lauren McDiarmid joined the UC Davis Community in 2013, and is currently serving as a member of the Student Financial Support Team in Graduate Studies. In her previous roles she worked in the College of Letters and Science and School of Education, supporting events and business administration.

Lauren joined Staff Assembly as a member of the Citations for Excellence Committee. Serving on that committee really opened her eyes to the incredible impact staff have on our university and how integral each one of us is to making the University of California a true place of excellence. She continued on to serve as Events Co-chair, Chair Elect, and now Chair on the UC Davis Executive Committee. She looks forward to working with fellow CUCSA delegates and continuing the work of creating space for staff voices to be heard and provide opportunities that foster connection, promote well-being, and celebrate our diverse and dedicated staff community.
