Biography

Teala Daniels-Cabral serves as a Legislative Analyst in State Governmental Relations at the University of California Office of the President, where she has supported UC’s legislative tracking and analysis for 18 years. With over 25 years of experience in legislative and governmental affairs, including in the education sector, she currently serves as Vice Chair of the UCOP Staff Assembly (OPSA), Co-Vice Chair of the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW), and a member of the UCOP Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council. Teala is committed to advancing equitable, transparent, and inclusive staff policies across the UC system.
