Biography

Theresa Short is a Business Operations Lead for the Strategic Partnerships Office at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She is responsible for identifying, implementing, and overseeing business processes. Theresa enjoys contributing to initiatives that are part of the overall benefit to the Lab and its mission and continually joins working groups and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accountability) workshops. She has developed strong relationships with staff at several institutions and maintains a large diverse network within the Lab. In the past she has participated in the Workforce Development & Education outreach program by taking science kits to elementary classrooms, and facilitating onsite workshops and events. She also participated in the Lab’s Learning and Organizational Development, Equity Reset program and has been trained to be an Equity Advisor. She is excited to be entering her second year as a Lab CUCSA delegate and looks forward to contributing to the work groups.
