Biography

Tom is an Operations and Project Consultant in the UCOP Operations team, bringing over eight years of experience as a staff member within the UC system. Prior to the current position, he served 5 years at UCPath. Tom holds an MBA from UCI and studied Anthropology, Asian Studies, and American Indian Studies at UCLA, UCI, and CSULB. For the 2024-25 academic year, Tom served as the OP Staff Assembly Chair and was a member of the EDI Council and the Staff at Work Survey core team, which focused on evaluating and enhancing staff well-being resources and support throughout UCOP. He is also currently leading the OPSA AI/Upskilling work group.
