Biography

Stefan joined UC Davis Health in 2002, as his first job in US after emigrating from Romania. Throughout his career, he held positions in Gov’t & Community Relations, Nursing, and School of Medicine. Currently, Stefan works as an IT Clinical Liaison. He holds an MPA‐Health Administration degree from USF, he is Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile (PMI‐ACP) certified, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Stefan is married and has two daughters. He is passionate about multi‐cultural diversity, music, travel, and train modeling.

As an immigrant, Stefan is very passionate about cultural diversity, inclusion, and all related values about the concept, carrying him on various volunteer initiatives at the institution where he works. This ultimately led him to be elected to serve as the Vice-Chair of the Staff Advisory Committee for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (SAC‐EDI) for the Health System. He is constantly engaged in ideas and actions that promote and highlight this notion. In his role as Chair-Elect of the Staff Assembly Executive Committee (Health), Stefan is looking forward to carrying the legacy of representing staff’s voice, while promoting a sense of connectedness withing the UCDH community and beyond.
